Preparing for 2025 and Changes to Come...
The challenge of living is making sure that we spend actual time to live life. The hard work we bombard ourselves with makes it hard to actually sniff the roses around us. This year, I attempted to actually take time away from things and actually attempt to live.
Entering into the Louvre in Paris…
This year included an extended break from this site and more time with my family. We traveled to France, spent time in the mountains in Asheville, and continued to work more as a family. I spent personal time and worked on meditating on the changes I want to make in my life. I love that my job, as an educator, allows me to make a difference but I want to accomplish more. Not only do I want to make growth within my career but I also want to refocus my passions and bring back the therapy that kept me sane for so many years… art.
Enjoying our view in our B&B in Corsica with my family…
One of the turning points of this year was visiting France with family. We were able to visit several cities and the island of Corsica. Being able to travel and also visit extended family and attend a wedding, help me think on changes that I wanted to make in my life and work on leaving a legacy that would positively impact others.

What Purpose Propels You with this Site…
From poster prints to IDW Artist Editions, I crave viewing, reading, engaging in, and speaking about art. Art provides us a glimpse into worlds that are unknown while also being familiar. It allows for artists to express themselves in ways that are not limited by the bounds to reality but the limits of one’s own imagination. I want to live in that realm again but not alone. I want to continue to explore this reality with my love ones, along with also teaching my students how they can also access the limitless capabilities of art.
This is also an online journal for me to share to the world. I want to share my musings with others and maybe inspire some to venture down the avenues I share on this site. Art is subjective but the possibilities it can provide is objectively powerful. I will continue to review movies, games, books, and show art installations at different museums and other locations. I’m also working to start provide videos to help accompany the content I provide here. I hope to show more of my personal art, which I haven’t done much in the past.
If you are reading this, thank you for your time. I hope you continue to follow the progress of my journey and hopefully find inspiration in what I post to help you search out the art that you want to see in the world around you.
